Alongside Castle Farm is the mound of Fotheringhay castle where Richard III was born in 1452 and the ill fated Mary Queen of Scots spent her last days when she was imprisoned and finally executed in 1587.

Close by is the picturesque town of Oundle and Peterborough Station is only 15 minutes away by car.

Accommodation at Castle Farm Guest House consists of 4 twin bedded rooms plus 1 double. One  of the twin bedded rooms converts easily into a family room and all are en suite.

Tea and coffee facilities, guests own lounge, baby sitting service and laundry facilities are all available.

There is a comfortable lounge which has an open fire and views across the river and meadows of the Nene Valley.
